Nice and Smooth

Sunshine

We all go through those periods of time when life seems to be a constant storm.  But even in those storms, someone special comes along and brings sunshine to those cloudy days.  I wrote this song in 2007 and recorded it in my studio with my best friend Connie Yarbrough.  She and I have been singing, writing and recording together since high school.  I can always count on her to come in and add that special touch to any song I write.  Anyway, enjoy the song and may it remind you of your sunshine!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Just let the music play and you will hear not only the smooth sax version but the original version as well.

Emotional (Morgan's Song)

Ever have one of those days or periods when life just seems to continually throw punches at you? Remember that blow up doll that stood about 4 feet tall and when you punched it, it would go down to the floor and pop back up?  Well, I went through a period of time when my frustrations were beginning to get the best of me and I felt like I was that blow up doll.  I can't tell you how many times I wanted to scream, kick, yell and just runaway to a faraway place just to get away from it all.   But at the end of the day, those same frustrations remain (that's if you haven't reacted out of your emotions and piled on more frustrations).  Nevertheless, instead of reacting destructively to my emotions, I decided it would be in my best interest to find another way to channel all these feelings into something creative.  Hence, I penned this song on the piano one day and since then every time I start feeling some kind of way, I play this song.  I can only hope it will do for you what it does for me.  Enjoy!
